Car gauges are very important components of any vehicle because they monitor the various vital aspects of the car operation. There are many types of car gauges that one can install in a vehicle, depending on what the vehicle owner wants to gauge or monitor. There are also various styles and designs of car gauges to choose from.
One of the most common and important type of car gauges is the speedometer which monitors the speed that the vehicle is going. Tachometers are also important because they measure the revolutions per minute or RPM and longer a car is running at higher RPMs, the harder the work of the engine and the worse the fuel mileage. Another important type of car gauge is one that monitors the oil pressure and this is important for one to be able to properly lubricate the engine. There are also car gauges that measure the voltage being produced by the car battery.
