    Firstly remember that PS3 is affected by the heat. Are you aware that this happens to many systems, and it will chiefly cause the PlayStation 3 to freeze at some point? Are you aware that heat will either cause it freeze or shut down entirely?Are you aware how to verify the connections switch off the unit manually via the onboard switch in the back, cut off all cables, and then remove the hard drive?Wait for 10 minutes then  reattach the cables, hit the switch, and see if this solves your problem.
