Picking up tips from a pro

I really had no idea of what to look for other than fly fishing guide new zealand when I was trying to find someone to take me to the best spots. I am going to a place called Taupo which has a huge lake and many back country streams which are apparently loaded with trout. I would consider myself to be a reasonably competent fisherman but I really needed someone to show me where to go. It’s always great to spend some time with a pro anyway as you will almost certainly pick up some new tips and techniques. It’s also nice to have the company for the day.
